Episode Where Archie and Mike Fix The Bathroom Door - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I just got my latest video in the Columbia House Collection of All In The Family,and the episode where the ******** guy came to deliver the groceries. Anyway, in the first scene Archie and Mike bring the bathroom door down stairs to shave the wood off of the door,and Archie couldn't get the scraper to shave the wood off. In that episode,Edith wanted to say something in private to Archie,and that's when Edith wanted to go to the bathroom and that she wanted some privacy and what if someone came in,and Archie told Edith to sing that'll keep them away. When the ******** guy got mad at Archie and ran out of the house,and Mike and Gloria got mad at Archie for calling him a dummy,and when Archie comes upstairs, Edith starts singing "Moon River".

That's a really good episode.

I love the singing scene. lol

I haven't seem that scene since it originally aired. It's ususlly cut for syndication.

That's one of my favorite episodes, too! It's great how Archie ends up looking "less intelligent" than George, the ******** boxboy.

I think one of the funniest scenes in that one is where George gets fired from the grocery store and finds a new job working on a loading dock...... The same type of work Archie does.
