I was searching for one of Andys movies called "Angel on my shoulder" and the movie data base came up and showed that Andy Griffith had a short lived sitcom in 1971called "The New Andy Griffith Show". He played a man named Andy Sawyer who worked in the state capital, retires and then goes back to his home town. Lee Meriwether played Lee Sawyer. If anyone has any information of both the sitcom or the movie could you please e-mail me. thanks Lucy
