Question What shows would you recommend?

What tv shows would you recommend to somebody that may or may not be on the air nowadays and why?

Well, I'd recommend my favs, but no one would probably listen to me. *shrugs*

Match Game (classic)- Because it's just hilarious.

Hogan's Heroes- Because, well, it's funny too.

Adam-12- Because it's a good cop show.

Both the original and new Dragnet- same as A-12

Route 66 (original)- Great drama, great plotlines, great acting, realistic stories.

The Simpsons- But then who hasn't seen at least one episode??

Futurama- Because it's hilarious. Fox didn't treat this show very well. It's 10 times funnier than King of the Hill and that's still on.

As far as I know, these shows aren't on the air anywhere.

WKRP in Cincinnati - very funny.
Laverne and Shirley - same reason.

I recommend the Brady Bunch or Brady Grid for all children of all nations, tongues, and kindreds. For it is Righteous to the Marrow That Is Bones!

And everybody says Amen.

Amen.

I know Ficiopri does anyhow.

There are only two shows that I recomend to anyone. That's "NewsRadio" and "Andy Richter Controls the Universe". Although I like many other shows, these are the two shows I put my seal of approval on.

I Love Lucy- the sitcom that started it all and set the standards for future sitcoms.

The Three Stooges- one of the most earliest skitcoms. Many things rooted from this classic.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe- The idea is hillarious and the imagination sequences are great. All the characters are likeable and I think the cast is great too.

Cheers- It might not be laugh-out-loud all the time but I think it is an interesting show with great characters.

It wasn't a sitcom. They were shorts that were played in the movie theaters during the 30's and 40's.

Shows I recommend:

For drama, I'd recommend the following:

Little House on the Prairie
The Waltons
The Wonder Years

For comedy, I'd recommend the following:

The Andy Griffith Show
The Brady Bunch
Happy Days
Laverne and Shirley
Leave It To Beaver
Mayberry, R. F. D.

All are wholesome shows.
