I dont know know if yall know this but the first episode of Hanging with Mister coppter was taped in the Growing Pains House.

Yeah. I Remember Alan Thicke was in the first episode and said he forgot something, than went over to the fireplace and grabbed the Family Portait from Growing Pains. I Thought that was funny

Probably because Growing Pains was ending at that time, and it would be cheaper to use that set for the pilot than to build an entire new set, especially if the show wasn't bought.

And in the second episode, Cooper explains that they used the Growing Pains house.

That would have been kind of neat if they had kept that set for Mr. Cooper. They tried that once with the "All in the Family" set but the show they used it for didn't get picked up.
