Ethical question on copying tapes... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For tape trading purposes on this board or elsewhere, do you ever make copies from reputable video producing companies (i.e. MGM) or do you stick with TV shows/movies?

I stick to just tv shows and made for tv movies.

I copy official stuff all the time, but not to sell or trade. I will put my dvds on tape, for instance, to take it to a friends house and watch with the kids.
