That was painting their house, they sure looked a lot alike if they werent the same person.

I thought the same thing i'm gonna go to tvtome.com and find out. I only seen that part but I thought it looked and sounded alot like him.

I believe he played Mr. Willet, another of Beaver's teachers as well.

This actor, Wendell Holmes, appeared at least 4 times on LITB-- twice as Mr. Willit the teacher, as Andy Hadlock the alcoholic, and finally as Mr. Blair the teacher. His last appearance as Mr. Blair was his next-to-last TV acting credit, and he died 4 months after the episode premiered, at age 56.

didnt he seem alot thinner in the ep he played mr blair?

When he plays Mr. Willet the music teacher and later a sub for Ms. Landers, Wendell Holmes has WHITE hair.
