Oh Gosh remember the way we DRESSED back then (my Favorite line from Three To Tango is when Amy goes "It was the 80s they made you look like that like you didnt look like a dork in the 80s" because its SOO TRUE) The lace Headbands, the pants or bikershorts underneath the short short miniskirts, the debbiegibson/tiffany hats, the tight tops
and YES I use to dress like that when I see some of my old pictures I SERIOUSLY laugh at myself

I was a baby, born in '85. I remember doing baby stuf..I remember the TV shows that were on Nickelodeon like Double Dare, Belle & Sabastion, The Elephant Show. When I was little, I liked listening to Bruce Springsteen (still do) Mom would play "Dancing in the Dark" to get me to calm down. I also remember life just being simpler back then but that's probably b/c I was a toddler, lol.

oh i love my 80s sooo much!! I remember:

Punky Brewster PUNKY POWER
head bands
spandex
one peice suits
sweats
and some otehr stuff.. i am only an 87er.

oh here is a song by Relient K called "In love with the 80s" that i thought fit this topic:
So it was Jeremy
In 1983
In his ocean pacific T
Who got a bloody knee
On his skateboard
In the half pipe
In the backyard
That Tuesday night

Chorus:
And I'm only gonna pierce my left ear
And I've been working on this mustache all summer long
My favorite band will always be Tears for Fears
And I'm gonna wear a pink tux to the prom

Cutting class through the first floor window
He's driving fast cause he never did a thing slow
And I look up to my big bro
Cause in the 80's all the ladies grabbed his hand and couldn't let go

Repeat chorus

Doo doo, a doo doo doo
Pink tux to the prom

I am gonna wear a pink tux to the prom
Live without a care
What could possibly go wrong?
When you're president of the breakfast club
And you're not hesitant to fall in love
To throw it away to fall in love with the 80's

I am gonna wear a pink tux to the prom
Live without a care
What could possibly go wrong?
Cause you threw it away to fall in love with the 80's

Doo doo, a doo doo doo (3x)

How about those really tight dark blue Jordache Jeans. When I was in 5th grade I wanted a pair so bad. It took me forever to save up 40 bucks so I could buy them because my mom wasn't about to pay that kind of money for a pair of pants.
