Default What's the title and who's the artist?

Last night I heard a song on the radio that I liked. As usual, they did not mention the title of the song nor the artist. I've been searching all over the Internet for this information to no avail. I jotted down some of the lyrics hoping that anyone who might know this information would let me know who the artist is and what is the title of the song. The lyrics (in random order) are these :

...Loving you rain or shine...How I feel about you night and day...I'd love to run my fingers through your hair...

It sounds somewhat 80ish, so I think it was written during that time. Any ideas?

Here's the lyrics to the song UpstairsSteak mentioned-

Woo
Ah, can you feel it, baby
I can
Ooh
Excuse me, do you think that I might be able to touch you
{Who me}

I can tell you how I feel about you night and day
How I feel about you (No, no)
I can tell you how I feel about you night and day
How I feel about you

I’ll love you more in the rain or shine
And makin’ love in the rain is fine
A love so good and I call it mine
Love is blind

I can tell you how I feel about you night and day
How I feel about you (No, no, no)
I can tell you how I feel about (Woo) you night and day
How I feel about you (Ho, oh...)

Believe me when I say that I do care (I can tell you)
I’d like to run my fingers through your hair (I can tell you)
Baby, if you left I could not bear (I can tell you)
Please don’t share

Do you love me, please let me know (I can tell you)
Don’t hide the feeling, just let it show (I can tell you)
A feeling so deep that comes within (I can tell you)
What kind of love am I in, ooh...

I can tell you how I feel (Uh, ho) about you night and day
How I feel about you (No, no, no)
I can tell you how I feel (Ooh) about you night and day
How I feel about you (Ho, oh...)

If you and I were one, girl
The love we’d share would be so fun
Just take my hand and you’ll see, girl
That we’d take off into another world

I can tell you how I feel about you (Ooh) night and day (Uh-huh)
(Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh)
I can tell you how I feel (Woo) about you night and day
(I’ll love you more in the rain or shine)

I can tell you how I feel about you night and day
(Night and day, night and day, night and day)
I can tell you how I feel (Woo) about you night and day
(Making love in the rain is fine)

I can tell you how I feel about you night and day
I can tell you how I feel about you night and day

Does anyone know what the title of the song and the artist is for this song?

I think the lyrics go something like:

Saturday night gonna take you to the top. Pretty baby.
Saturday night like the way you move. Pretty baby.

I've been trying to figure out what this song was called and who sang it for years.

Bellini - Saturday Night

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=music

Saturday night,
I feel the air is getting hot
Like you, baby
I'll make you mine,
You know I'll take you to the top
I drive you crazy

Saturday night dance,
I like the way you move
Pretty baby
It's party time,
And not one minute we can lose
Be my baby

* Dabadada didididadidadida
Be my baby
Dabadada didididadidadida
Pretty baby

* Repeat

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday night
Saturday, Saturday, Saturday night

Dabadada didididadidadida
Saturday, Saturday
Dabadada didididadidadida
Saturday, Saturday night

* Repeat

Saturday night,
I feel the air is getting hot
Like you, baby
I'll make you mine,
You know I'll take you to the top
I drive you crazy

Saturday night dance,
I like the way you move
Pretty baby
It's party time,
And not one minute we can lose
Be my baby

Dabadada didididadidadida
Saturday, Saturday
Dabadada didididadidadida
Saturday, Saturday night

* Repeat

It's party time, it's party time
Oh-oh, Saturday
It's party time, it's party time
Woh-oh, be my baby

It's party time, it's party time
Oh-oh, Saturday
It's party time, it's party time
Woh-oh, be my baby

Default Thanks

Thank you Miss Karly and UpstairsSteak for clarifying that.

Well, it looks like this thread has turn into "ask-the-title-and-artist." That's cool.

So, anyone wondering the name of a song they like, feel free and ask.

Can I offer a small suggestion? Instead of starting new threads everytime you know a few lines to a song, go to Google and type in the lyrics you know and the song should come up somewhere...

Thank you for your suggestion, but I tried doing just that on several search engines and they came up with zilch. That's why I decided to ask here and I got what I wanted.

But you're right, some search engines do find lyrics or artists material. For example, I searched for this other song that I wanted to know the title and artist (Donna Lewis' "Love You For Ever") and I got zillions of matches.

PS I have to comment on the pic in your sig: That girl is one HOT babe...Mmm, mmm. She has that seductive look. Just by looking at her pic makes me want to...well, you get the pic. Thank you Dr. Lu Delgado for some wonderful "eye music."

Hey thanks for posting those lyrics, dlemond. I've been wondering what that song was called for six years.

Ok, what's the song, it's pretty slow all through it and then in the end it's a lil faster and it goes (I'm not totally sure if these are the lyrics, but...)

Please, please, please don't tell me
Please, please, please don't tell me
Please, please, please don't let me down.
