Grady was very funny that way. He was very funny when he kept calling Lamont's karate instructor GOOSE instead of GUS!!

Grady is Hilarious. One of the names he messed up was Toto's from The Wizard Of Oz. He kept calling him Tito

In one episode, Grady came in and did his usual "Hi, uh..." routine while he tried to remember Lamont's name. Lamont was like, "It's Lawrence," and Grady was like, "Oh, right! Hi, Lawrence." Seems like he'd believe anything you told him.
