Lightbulb The Future of the Cast

The Cast of That 70's Show will probably go in to bigger and better things however we will never see some of them again... Except in a "behind the scenes" type of thing.. But i bet that many of them will become bigger stars...

The only cast member i won't expect to see is Bob. All the other members of the show have starred in movies or sitcoms.......except i haven't heard of Wilmer doing anything but i am not sure Anyways that 70s show rocks and all the actors do a good job.

Go 70s Cast

Cool Re: Wilmer

Wilmer was in "Summer Catch" with Freddie Prinze Jr. , and at least one other movie whose title escapes me. Anyone else know what it was?

That other movie you're thinking of is "Party Monster". Hoping it'll be out soon..he was on a couple of talk shows promoting it. And damned if he didn't look delicious doing it, lol..not that I've got a one track mind or anything. Nah.

Default cast futures

Re: cast futures...well, in show business anything can happen, but this is how I see it for the cast of THAT '70s SHOW in the future. For the record, I think everybody is excellent in this show- it's a pefect ensemble cast- everybody plays off each other so well. As someone who hasn't watched contemporary sitcoms since the mid 1980's, this show has been completley refreshing since it started in 1998 and is probably the best ensemble comedy since WKRP In Cincinnati. I feel it deserves better critical and commercial success ( the likes of "everybody loves raymond" - a show which I don't like yet is continually praised) but think it will go down in TV history like WKRP - a cult show.

Danny Masterson: he's been in television for while now ( relatively speaking) has a pretty good range in comedy and drama, he's likeable. I see him continuing in television in some fashion...if not in front of the camera, maybe behind it later. I don't see im going into movies.

Mila Kunis: I would be very surprised if she did anything as sucessful as her role as Jackie the future. It's possible, but not likley.

Wilmer (i'm not even gonna try with the last name) : he will have the hardest time if he decides to continue in show biz. he'll be pretty much typecast and seen as "Fez". For a long time I thought he had no accent in real life unti I saw him on Craig Kilborn. It's obviously not as exaggerated as "Fez",but it's there...and although I feel he has some real comedic talent- he may go the way of a "horseshack", "erkel", or "re-run"....which is too bad, because I think he's more talented than all of those people.

Laura Prepon: this is an interesting case here. Although she is the weakest actor on the show, she has some kind of subtle charisma - she's just....different y'know? and it's more than just the way she looks. I think if she got with an acting coach- worked hard at the craft of acting-I could see her in movies- and I'm not talking goofy teen movies, but dramas. For her I think it's just a matter of how much she wants it, because it's out there waiting for her.

Ashton Kutcher: well, speaking of goofy teen movies that will be dated in years to come ( as if thy aren't already) he may have screwed himself by doing those. The thing is though, on the show...he's funny as hell. He's definitely going to come out with another movie - I just hope it's good material, because i'd like to see him succeed. If he comes out with another B-movie like the last two he's done- it's over and he's done. He really needs a funny script that will utilize his talents. For some reason I don't see it happening.

Topher Grace: OK, here we go now. This kid hs UNBELIEVABLE charisma, comedic timing and delivery. He has a real command with his acting ability with deceptively simple gestures, pauses, glances, and stares, he has the face for movies that will only growwith maturity and as he fills out a little more. Plain and simle he's a star, and I expect big things fom him....whether it's TV ( could be on par with Alan Alda) or movies. People in the industry already believe in him to put him in solid high profile movies like "Traffic" and "Ocean's Eleven". Both ofwhich he came off a bit young and not quite ready. But it's the start.

Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp: both EXCELLNT actors-I don't see them having a problem with working in the future, particularly Smith who gets my vote for best TV dad ever.

Arrow "Win a Date With Topher Grace!!!"

That '70s Show star Topher Grace will star opposite Kate Bosworth in DreamWorks Pictures' romantic comedy "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!!!" for director Robert Luketic. The Hollywood Reporter says a May/June start date is expected.

The film sees Bosworth playing Rosalee, a small-town grocery store clerk who finds herself the winner of a contest that gets her out of West Virginia to Hollywood for a date with the hottest, most eligible movie star. Once in town, on what should be the typical publicity meet-and-greet, she finds herself in the middle of a love triangle with the movie hunk and her longtime best friend, Pete (Grace), a fellow clerk who has been in love with Rosalee since the sixth grade.

Lightbulb Ashton's movie "The Guests"

Ashton's movie "The Guests" which was supposed to come out February 28th, was reschuduled and got its' name changed.
It's not called "THE BOSS'S DAUGHTER" and it's scheduled to be in theatres on August 22nd.
I guess the studios thought that if two of Ashton's movies came out a month between them, people would start getting bored. Or maybe it's a production thing. Who knows. Let's jst hope this movie doesn't turn into a new "Texas Rangers" which got its' name changed many time along with the date, until it became straight to video.

Hello All! I'm new to this board as of today...

I'd venture to say that each of the cast members will have at least some sort of extended relationship with fame -- be it acting (TV, Film or Theatrical), Modeling, Stand-up Comedy or otherwise...

The guy who plays Redd is a wonderful television actor; he's been in other things. Michael is a very gifted comedic actor; he'll go far. Hyde, Jackie and Fez are very good as well. Bob is preety funny, and kitty is just hilarious. Eric, Donna and Bob's wife could use some coaching; their timing is very off (No offense; they are all okay actors)
