What were the occupations of the castaways before they were shipwrecked?

The occupations are:

Gilligan- First mate,sailor,crew of SS Minnow and before he was a first mate,sailor,crew he worked in a gas station.

Skipper- Captain of SS Minnow,sailor

Mr Howell- never worked in his life

Mrs. Howell- never really had a job

Ginger- A Movie star

Professor- a Professor, High school teacher?

Mary Ann- A clerk in a store in Kansas.
