It was a hollywood back lot! There was no real Gilligans Island! It was just a set!

Hi I had heard that some scenes where filmed here on the channel Islands in California Don't know longitude latutude all I know is I can walk to the beach and see them.
 they are off the caost of California near Port Hueneme...Point Magu...Oxnard...Ventura area. Hope that helps. It was in my local paper a few years ago that some scenes were filmed there as well as some in Oxnard CA

Part of it was filmed in California, part was filmed in Hawaii. The island that is shown during the credits in in Hawaii. go to wwww.gilligansisle.com
