I read somewhere that Suzanne Somers got kidnapped while going to her car after a Threes Company Episode shooting... is this true? What happened?

From what I've read it is true. One night, after rehearsals I think, Suzanne went out to her car. There was a guy there who held a gun to her head and made her drive for three hours or so around LA. Suzanne didn't press charges because she wanted to avoid publicity over the incident.

Aww poor Suzanne!.. So nothing happened to the kidnapper? Do u know when this happened? Did John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt find out

I assume the kidnapper was let go or not apprehended or something. It happened in 1978 or 1979 I think, not sure though. I don't know if John Ritter or Joyce DeWitt knew about it before she first mentioned it to the public in 1980/1, though she probably did. I haven't read/seen a lot about it. Suzanne's book After the Fall probably has some more information on the incident.
