Default Louise's Mystery Red Coat-What happen to this Coat-LOL

There was a discussion in the AITF board about the Jeffersons pilot episode being apart of the Jeffersons syndication package but I explained it can't happen because the opening credits doesn't match the pilot episode. In the Jeffersons pilot, which is a AITF episode, Louise is wearing a light blue coat, and inside the cab in the opening credits she has a red coat. Plus Louise wears that same blue coat in the 1st episode after the pilot. So that's two episodes in a row with the light blue coat and the Red coat was never seen on the Jeffersons set. WHERE WAS THE RED COAT?-LOL Does anyone remember seeing Louise wear a red coat in any episode?

I was thinking that George might have given her a coat either for her birthday or their anniversary or at Christmas!!! And I do remember a red coat somewhere in one episode,I have not seen any episodes on TV in a long time,I have both the 1st season of the Jeffersons DVD and just started collecting the Columbia House Videos of the Jeffersons!!! Perhaps, someone on this post can help you out!!! Anyone know any episodes where Louise is wearing a red coat???

Actually, I do recall her wearing her red coat on the episode when George couldn't reach his banker (Mr. Johnson) for a loan. It was towards the end of the episode when Louise was telling George why he hasn't been able to reach Johnson.

Well it's still odd she didn't wear the red coat the entire 1st season and she had it on in the cab.

You are right. She did have on that red coat in the episode Moving Down. Just odd that she didn;t wear it until season two.

Because she wore it in the opening credits and never wore it in a first season episode. You would think she would have wore the coat in the beginning of the first season. But it's appers in the 8th episode of the second season-LOL I WANT TO KNOW THE STORY BEHIND THE COAT-LOL

When do see sitcom characters wear the same clothes twice? Hardly ever.

What? All the time. James evans always wore those white pants, george wore a dark blue suit jacket more than once in season one. Louise wore that light blue coat more than once. and Louise wore the same outfit in a Jeffersons Episode that she had already wore in All in the Family.
