Default Best album of 1971

1971 boasted many monumental albums. From this list, which is your favorite album from that year?

Imagine's the best by far!

I would vote for it but my vote won't go through.

Cool re: best album of 1971

Boy, tough call between Led Zeppelin "IV" (which, btw, DIDN'T really have a name, in spite of the symbols on the front) and "Who's Next" by the Who...

But personally, MY CHOICE FOR BEST ALBUM OF 1971 is:

"MASTER OF REALITY" BY BLACK SABBATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote for the best Paul McCartney album ever, "Ram" featuring the hit single "Uncle Albert/Admiral Morsley", what about Marvin Gaye's famous protest album "What's Going On" that is not on the poll list?

Marvin Gaye's What's Going On definitely belongs on that list of choices, but the Who's Who's Next is better than any rock album ever made at any time - except the Beatles's Revolver (1966).

Another great album from 1971 is Family's Fearless. This, What's Going On, and Who's Next are three of my personal choices for the ten best albums of all time.

Well, I'm gonna have to vote for my current avator, Led Zeppelin IV.

P.S.- AKA your avator is awesome. I love that album.
