Who says in the beginning of the show, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman??? Is it Louise Lasser saying Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman in the beginning of the show???

That was Dody Goodman who played Martha Shumway (Mary's mother).

Yes, I recognize her voice now, she played Philip Drummond's sister on Different Strokes,that's where I also remember her from. Thanks!!

P.S. I voted for Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman on the Sony TV site for it to come on DVD!!! Keep your fingers crossed!!!
