Default Question about the episode Surprise Party

I watched the episode Surprise Party on TV LAND last night and I wanted to know if this is the first episode aired with Redd Foxx after he was missing due to contractual disputes?

Exclamation

Solomon,I have found out some about the episodes that Redd wasn't in,it was the last 5 episodes of the 1973-1974 season that Redd wasn't in starting with the episode "Will The Real Fred Sanford Please Stand Up" where an old girlfriend thinks that Grady is Fred!!! And then the first episode of the 1974-1975 was The Surprise Party was when he came back from his contract dispute!!!
Also if you go to the TV To Me site, you will see that in the Sanford and Son history they make a huge mistake,it says it premiered as a mid-season replacement on CBS,it premiered on NBC not CBS!!!

I got the information about the episodes from Tim's TV Showcase site and figuring out from which episodes that Redd was off the show because of his contract dispute, which were the last 5 episodes of the 1973-1974 season!!! And also the detailed info from each show from the Columbia House videos, all 5 of the episodes are in the collection!!! Also if you go to Tim's TV Showcase site and click on Sanford and Son you will find some other sites about Sanford and Son and a Redd Foxx site as well!!!

I remember someone saying that he was missing from 15 episodes-LOL. I knew that coudn't be true because they would have found another person to play Fred Sanford
