Default TV Shows that you love...

That your family/friends/spouse can't understand why...

My friend says I'm obsessed with TV. I think she's right but I won't admit it to her We have absolutely positively no shared interest in TV AT ALL. My mom would rather watch CNN or the Home Shopping Network.

I love FRIENDS, Will & Grace, The Nanny, The Love Boat, Three's Company, Golden Girls, Facts of Life. They just don't "get" it

of course my friend likes American Idol and I have no idea why.

Anyone?

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

I think that one would make my list if I ever see it again

I used to faithfullly watch The Rosie O'Donnell show right when it first came on and my ex boyfriend used to get up and LEAVE because he hated it so much. Ahhh, memories....

A couple of my suitemates last year would ask me how I could watch Wings. They thought it was a stupid show. They loved Friends and Full House, which are two shows that you can not get me to watch at gunpoint. Everyone has different tastes.

I really love Cheers and Andy Richter Controls the Universe. They are just two great shows in my opinion.

Whenever I talk about some of the older shows at work, no one knows what I'm talking about.

Person: Who's Dobie Gillis?

Person: Chico and the Man? Is that the show with Freddie Prinze, Jr.?

Me: No, It's his dad. (I guess at least they associate the Prinze name with Chico and the Man.)

Also, I don't know anybody, except for some of the people here at the messageboards, that watches or has even heard of "Andy Richter Controls The Universe."

As for simply hating the shows I love, my little sister can't stand "Wings" and "Chico and the Man." She spends all her time watching reality shows. (American Idol, The Bachelor etc.)

Yeah, that's how it is with me. I can be talking about some older show and all my friends are looking at me like I just grew horns or something.

I also love Family Ties and The Golden Girls, and American Dreams.
