Question which show is stronger in its 10th season cheers or frasier?

which show is stronger in its 10th season cheers or frasier?
in my opinion cheers was alot more entertaining & fresher in its 10th season.
in my opinion frasier and roz are a worst couple than sam & rebecca and thats saying something.
niles and daphne should never have happen it took all of the excitement out of the show.
frasier almost made my "5 worst mistakes ever made
in sitcoms" list.

I'd say Cheers was better as well. Frasier hasn't been the same since Niles and Daphne ran off in the Winnebago. I think the reason Cheers did as well as it did was that it always had a strong couple on the show. First they had Sam and Diane, and when Shelley Long left the show, they had Frasier and Lilith. I don't think Cheers went bad until the 11th season.

Although I think you can see how Cheers changes over the years. I love the first season because everyone seemed so awesome and friendly, and as the show got more popular, it was like the bar started to be filled with people who were just there because it was *the* place to be, if that makes any sense. By the 11th season, it had lost all the charm that made it so great.

The 10th season of Cheers in my opinion was the weakest. They relied on slapstick comedy to keep the show alive, and Ted Danson was the person that had to keep the show smooth and running. The 10 season of Frasier I think is a bit stronger however. It's not that it's one of the best seasons of Frasier, but Frasier seems to be getting a larger part in it all. Niles seemed to be the main focus for many other seasons, and Frasier had been reduced to a supporting character. Now he is the big character, and Niles has been reduced to a smaller part, which is also quite good.

That's a very good question. I would have to say Cheers was a bit stronger because it had more characters to freshen things up. Frasier has weakened slightly over the years. Don't get me wrong though, I still love it.

I don't really think Cheers used a lot of slapstick until the 11th season. I personally think that Cheers's 10th season was much better than Frasier's. The season had a great supporting cast and the jokes were great too. It's actually one of my favorite seasons of Cheers.

Cheers was a little bit stronger than Frasier so far but it is really difficult to say because Cheers went an a seriously downward slide towards the end of the 10th season and I'll have to wait for Frasier's season to finish to really compare thoes episodes together and see what ends up stronger.

Great question BTW...

I think Cheers was stronger but only slightly. Mainly because Cheers had a great cast like Frasier but it had better storylines which revolved around everybody.

I really like this question, too.

I just perused an online ep. guide and I would definitely go with Cheers, though not what it once was, literally every ep. was funny. The baby stuff, the "inner hairy man" one ("Well naturally the buffet!"), Norm getting stuck at the Cranes, Cliff lousing up the family reunion video ("Run like hell!"), Kevin McHale and the bolts at the Garden, Carla sleeps with Hill, Frasier's will replaced with Sam's sperm count ("That damn bar"), Woody takes off too much of Sam's hair, Woody grave digging, Nanny Gee, Woody's cousin ("Isn't Carla dreamy?!"), Norm's bar tab ("Skinny guy at the end of the bar"), the Carson show ("You blew my joke, Johnny Cah-son!"), all culminating with the uprorious Woody/Kelly wedding. Not bad for a 10th season.

Frasier this year, ehhh, really sluggish start but the last four or so have been good.

I heavily agree about number of characters. The longest running shows of all time had a plethora of different people to write stories around. Can't really think of a show with maybe three or four cast members that stuck around for a long time.

Cheers definitely.

From what I've seen of Fraiser this year, they should pack it in.
