Post Potsie's charachter Phased out during the last few Seasons

Did you ever notice Potsie was rarely seen after Richie left the show. His charachter was still there in the opening credits, and he was mentioned a lot. Usually by Howard when he was talking about the Hardware store. But he only appeared in a handful of episodes. And during the last Season, his charachter was dropped all together. If you look up Happy Days anywhere it always says Potsie left the show in 1983. But he was in 2 or 3 episodes from Season 11. Anyone else no about this?

Potsie's appearances WERE limited after Richie left, and he was working for Howard in the hardware store. He CERTAINLY did not appear in the FINALE episode of "Passages", where Joanie and Chachi get married. I think Anson Williams was getting more wrapped up in his movie-directing career, during the latter seasons

Ya, because in the episodes form 1982-83 , Going Steady and sicne I Don't Have you, he is in the credits and not in them, also in the last season, when Potsie left, he was still in the credits even though he left the previous season

I have always wondered about Potsie being in the credits but not in the shows. Is there a legal reason? Or something else?

Like I'vc said before, Potsie and Ralph should've shown up for the "Passages" FINALE episode, as long as Richie was there

Anson Williams did appear as Potsie during the final season of Happy Days, but I think he was only in about 4 or 5 episodes. He was listed in the opening credits of every episode, however. Why he didn't appear in the final episode is a mystery, it would have been nice to have seen Don Most show up in "Passages" as well
