Cool Has anyone read any good books lately?

I read The Lovely Bones by Alice Slebold over winter break, and I thought it was a wonderful book. It's told from the perspective of a murdered 14 year-old girl. It's pretty emotional at times. I really enjoyed it. I don't recommend it for everyone though. It is a pretty emotional book.

What other books have you guys read lately?

I joined The Literary Guild and one of the books I ordered was, "Among the Heroes" by Jere Longman. It's about Flight 93 that went down in Pennsylvania September 11th. It talks about everyone on that plane, including the main highjacker. It talks in detail about the events leading up to everyone's arrival at the gate to four or five months after the horrible tragedy. I really liked it. Jere Longman did a great job portraying everyone. It is extremely sad though, obviously. I almost broke down more than five times. But if you are interested in how these brave people saved another plane from crashing into another building, this is the book you should read.

OMG, I want to read that book. It sounded really cool.

I'm reading this book called Acts of Revision. It's about this psychotic guy who blames his misfortunes on his former teachers and sets out to get revenge on them. It's pretty good.

Yep, I read that also. Great book, but as you said, it's not for everyone. It made my aunt cry.

Catch Me If You Can
By Frank W. Abagnale
With Stan Redding

It's a good book, it had a lot more details than the movie did. If you liked the movie I reccomend the book.
