Pesto is a cream sauce named for it's creator, Pesto Martinez. It can be either spread on bread or used for a dip with chips and such. It's also good when mixed into burritos or tacos.

"The store"? You mean the grocery store, like Raley's? You should be able to find it there but it's prevalant on the streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles. They have small Mexican owned shops block after block in certain sections of the city. I'm sure other cities have such areas with those sorts of mom and pop stores too.
I wouldn't say that it is spicy exactly. It is a bit of a firecacker on the first bite, but it mellows quickly. You'll go back for more and more, I guarantee!

It may well be that what I said is true, but I was actually joking. I made it up just for fun. I don't know what pesto is. If you find some, let us know how it is okay?

I think pesto is quite tasty. I love it on tacos and nachos and stuff.

I've had it on pasta. I personally don't care for pesto. Sometimes it's cream based, other times, more oil based. It's sold in the grocery store. Buitoni and Contadina make it, to name a few.
allrecipes.com is a good site to find out about any food.

Pesto is not Mexican, it is Italian. The main ingredient is basil.
Where did you guys get Mexican from?

Usually it's basil, oil, garlic and pine nuts.

Only Kitt implied that it was Mexican, and he said he was only joking.
