Question WHO SINGS BEST?

Personally, I think Ginger sings best, even though I hate her.
# 2 - Gilligan
# 3 - Mary Anne
# 4 - Thurston
# 5 - Skipper
# 6 - Lovey
# 7 - Probably Professor, even though I've never heard him sing. I suppose If I did, he would be higher up.

"Skipper, you are standing on your head, aren't you?" - Professor
"Of course I am, Professor" - Skipper
"Oh good. For a minute I thought I was working too hard." - Professor

I think you're right. You would think that Maryann would sing better because she has a cuter voice but I beleive the Ginger sang best!!!

I don't think the professor is the worst singer! He has a really nice voice, so you would think he would get maybe third place??? Having good voice = singing in good voice. Which can mean he is a good singer.

It doesn't always work that way. I know someone who has a nice speaking voice but isn't that great a singer (I'm not insulting him, even he admits it!) And I know someone who has a nice singing voice but her speaking voice isn't that great...me, I don't have neither... my speaking voice is "eh" and my singing voice is horrible... I'm one of the worst singers I've ever heard....

"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!"

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!"

singing isn't that important. I mean people talk *all* day long and they sing... well I don't know... that just depends on you. Maybe a few times a week? I mean... singing well is nice, but if you have a bad speaking voice, that's even worse. I mean you can't sing while introducing yourself, although our music teacher makes us do that. Ugh.

Anyways, singing is nice and everything, but you always talk and everyone hears you talk, so I'd rather have a better speaking voice. But that's just my opinion.

Aha!!! I just heard the Prof sing "For he's a Jolly Good Fellow" when they thought Gilligan was going to die from being bitten by that green bug. He has A wonderful voice! Just as good as his speaking voice and better!

I would agree that Ginger sang best. Remember that the character Ginger is a professional actress and thus she should sing best. The other actors would probably dumb down their character's singer for comedic effect.

You're right ProffesorFan! I just heard him sing too! Now I have revised my order!

# 1 - Ginger
# 2 - Professor
# 3 - Gilligan
# 4 - Mary Ann
# 5 - Thurston
# 6 - Skipper
# 7 - Lovey

It's so weird to hear him sing! It's just that, he's so preoccupied with science and getting off the island, you'd think he wouldn't be the type to sing! He has a really nice singing voice! (Just the opposite of me!)

I think that Gilligan is a horrible singer you know the Chicken people episode where Gilligans collecting feathers for Mr howells Mrs howells secret pillo (if that dosen't make any scence than sorry) and they need to find the lens for the mars probe and they find it and Gilligan breaks it and they glue it together and then the pot of glue explodes and Gilligan sings the new song (fake) to the skipper and Gilligan and It goes don't go in there yeah yeah yeah theres nothing in there yeah yeah yeah, He has a horrible singing voice, but seriously I don't think any of them can sing very well exept maybe Ginger

I read that Dawn wells (She played Mary Ann) can't sing at all. She can't carry a tune. Her voice was always dubbed (even when they sang "for he's a Jolly Good Fellow!".

Thurston: No, darling, I'm talking about clubs.
Lovey: Of course, he drove us to all the very best clubs.

I definetely think that Ginger sings the best, she also is really pretty and has a
better voice than Maryann.

I don't care if Mary Ann's singing voice was dubbed or not; it still came from her mouth and therefore from the Mary Ann character. Whoever dubbed the voice, IMO, did a very nice job. POWER TO THE ALTOS, MAN!

------------------
The 8th Castaway, The Stowaway
"Gilligan thinks he's Mary Ann, and Ginger has to play Mary Ann because Mary Ann thinks she's Ginger."
"Have you been eating peaches and brandy without the peaches again?"
"Gilligan, I shall repose comment."
"Why are you giving this to me?" "Because it's broken."
"I just wanted to ask if I could join in the game!"
"In addition to beauty and face and figure, there is a lady on this island who exhibits sweetness and warmth, the lady I would pick as the most beautiful in the world, Mary Ann."

In the first episoed, Ginger was a NIGHT CLUB SINGER, and she sang many times. MaryAnn sang well as a meber of the "Honeybees", but in the episode where she thought she was Ginger, she couldn't sing at all. Hmmmmmmmm.
