Default Amazon

Today I ordered a few books from amazon.com. I've never purchased anything off that site. Do they have reliable service? Do packages arrive on time? How have your shopping experiences been on that site?

I bought a couple books and a few cds off of Amazon. I didn't have a problem with them and my stuff arrived within the next couple of days.

I've been ordering from Amazon for years, and I've never encountered a single problem. They send e:mails informing you of the status of your order. Items are rarely out of stock, and orders arrive on time.
I've had gifts, such as books, CDs, DVDs, etc. sent to people's homes, and everything turns out fine.
They used to offer free shipping on two books or more, but now it's just offered as a special every now and then.

Sounds like they're reliable. I'm glad I chose to purchase from them. Thanks, everyone, for your stories. Anyone else?

I've never ordered from Amazon.co.uk cos they won't accept my debit card. I always use Streetsonline.co.uk and I can't compliment them enough - they are efficent, cheap and very concerned about their customers.
I wanna take this opportunity to warn everyone about BOL.com - they suck!!!! They screwed up almost all of the 8 orders I (stupidly) placed with them and trying to get a refund out of them was like getting blood from a stone!

Amazon's great! Bought a lot of my books for the semester there 'cause they were cheaper. And if you order over $25 worth, shipping is free. It's slower shipping, but who cares if you don't have to pay for it?

Amazon's good. I bought some CD's from them and didn't have problems. I like them and Barnes and Nobles. Those two are very reliable

I agree with everyone else, amazon is awesome! They get the stuff out quicker then any company Iv'e bought from, and always in great condition. Two thumbs up all the way from me.
