I'm just curious...
1. How many episodes of the original LHOTP were there? 2. How many second-generation episodes (without Landon)? 3. When did the show run? 4. How many "movies" were made (I know the final one, and the first one, but were there others)? 5. Are there any other sites out there that have quality information about the show? 6. Who has died (I know Landon and French, but are there others)? Of course, I could probably look all of this up, but I'm at work, so pretty much I can type without getting into trouble, but I can't stop to do research. Thanks!

I can answer some of these. There are roughtly 203 episodes of the series (this counts two-hour episodes as two separate episodes, but does not split the 90-minute episodes up). 21 of these hour-long episodes were from the last-season "New Beginning", without Landon. The regular run was from fall of 1974 to spring of 1983. The pilot ran in the spring of 1974, while the sequel movies ran from fall of 1983 to Christmas, 1984. There were three movies: "Look Back to Yesterday" (1983), "The Last Farewell" (1984), and "Bless All the Dear Children" (1984). The last two were shown out of order, since NBC wanted to get the "finale" on in time for February sweeps in 1984.
