The ABC Television Network and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” announced today that comedian/actress and “Celebrity Mole” finalist Kathy Griffin will serve as their first female co-host for the week of
FEBRUARY 3-7 (weeknights, 12:05-1:05 a.m., ET, following “Nightline”).
“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” which airs live to the east coast, features a diverse lineup of guests that include celebrities, athletes, musical acts, comedians, human interest subjects and dangerously crazy
people, along with comedy bits, a house band and week-long visits from a variety of rotating sidekicks.
The show originates from Disney’s El Capitan Entertainment Centre, located on Hollywood Boulevard, directly across the street from the new Kodak Theatre (permanent home of the Academy Awards), the Hollywood & Highland retail entertainment center and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. This famed location is featured prominently as Kimmel showcases the unique character of Hollywood after dark.
Jimmy Kimmel and Daniel Kellison serve as executive producers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with Touchstone Television.
