The episode is wonderful. I'm starting my second cycle with the show, meaning the shows are repeating for me. I find myself enjoying the shows more now because I've bonded with the characters. I've seen Seasons 1-5. I hope I get to see 6-9. Nick@Nite went to 5, then suddenly started them over. I've yet to see Hayden and Christine actually get married, only the misfires.
This episode, which was the Season Premiere for Season 4, was a heart-tugger with Stuart aka Buzzy the Beaver leaving Kelly for California and another woman. The final scene in Hayden's office where Kelly cries in her father's arms really breaks me up. When they cut to the credits, you can still hear her sobbing. I couldn't help but wonder how Kris Kamm felt filming his final (almost) episode. I'm sure the poor guy didn't want out of the show, and to make matters worse, he exits the show a cad. The rest of the show was good with Hayden pumped up about being on the cover of Sport's Illustrated--The Greatest Coach You've Never Heard Of. Lol. Luther, hilarious as usual with the curse thing. Funny as anything with Dawber in the team room singing to the Buzzy Beaver Show. Everything went flying as he jumped when Hayden came in. I haven't watched the next episode, Since My Beaver Left Me, yet, but I know I saw it before. Funny show, sad show. As always, a great show!

I agree Janice, it was a great episode. When Luther started limping because he thought his leg was cursed, cracked me up. I also related to the scene where Kelly sobs in Hayden's arms. As a father, it kills to know your little girl was hurt.

I remember that episode. The first time I've ever seen it is when ABC had first aired this episode back in September 1991. I liked it a lot, but I didn't like the episode after that because it wasn't that funny. Through out that whole episode, Kelly cries into tears, I mean like real tears.

That was certainly Clare's role of a lifetime.
