The smiley doesn't bother me too much. What does bug me though are the abbreviations like UR (you are) and ne1 (anyone). I could definitely do without those. Also the shortened form of "you are" is YOU'RE, not YOUR! Your is possessive. Your books, your opinions, etc. The two words are not interchangable.

LOl yes!! I admit I sometimes shorten my words to do laziness, but yeah, there is a different between YOUR and YOU'RE. Althought Im sure you'll find a lot of my posts with the '!!

I write things like ne1 and ur cuz its shorter but i try not to abbreviate everything cuz things like U R 2 KEWL 2 B 4GOT N annoy me.

Oh I hate the things like U R @ KEWL 2 B 4GOT N. Geez, I hate it. I know I abbreviate some things too, but you have to admit that I at least spell most of my words out normally. I can't guarantee they make sense, but I do spell them out.
