Default Hair Problem

Okay, I have dinner with my grandma this week. And I need to know how to straighten my hair. I have very curly, very thick hair. How do I straighten it with the freakin' blow dryer and not kill the muscles in my arms? How do I straighten my hair, period?

Try using a flat iron. They work alot better than trying to straighten your hair with a hair dryer or curling iron.

Hope this helps.

Is it okay if I wet my hair before using it or will I get electrocuted?
Stupid question, yes, but I'm not taking any chances.

Okay this is where i come in. I have like the thickest hair in the world.

Flat irons dont work on my hair cuz I have a lot of it....

I use Pantene Pro V Keep It Straight gel....you get your hair kinda wet and then put the stuf on and blow dry it with a flat brush...it works for meee.

Sorry Hon! I have very straight ,straight hair! You can have mine! I wish I had more body /curl to it! But I understand your problem! Back in the 60's my girlfriends ironed their hair but I don't know how it's done. I never had to straighten my hair! Hope someone can tell you a safe way to do it!

It works best when you're hair is really dry and you've put gel in it and let it dry.

I've come to the conclusion that it cannot be done with only me so I am asking my friend for help tomorrow.

I want it to be straight! I don't want body, I don't want curls, I especially don't want people asking me why I want to straighten me hair, I just want it straight!

That was the most superficial thing I have ever said. Please forgive me!!

LOL WD-- I agree... if one more person tells me that everyone pays thousands to have curls I am going to slap them. Why would someone pay to have frusteration in their lives? GR!!.
