Actually, I just watched the new "Dragnet" and it was pretty good. I was a fan of the old "Dragnet" and would be very critical if it didn't live up to the original It seemed pretty respectful of its illustrious predecessor and followed the format quite closely. But it's by Dick Wolf, who does, "Law & Order," so it's no surprise that it's good. Sorry for those who followed "The Practice."

I just watched (and recorded) the new "Dragnet" last night, and I actually liked it! -- hmm, I never thought I would like a show about police investigators. But, it was really interesting...

The ENTIRE show was held together by O'Nell, and Embray was like a little pest. If O'Neill cannot have the strength to carry the show himself, than it'll sink for sure. The writing is lousy, and The Practice should go back to where it belongs. I'll give it a C.

In all honesty, it wasn't THAT bad; I do think they were trying a little too hard to be like the old Dragnet (just my opinion), but maybe the next episode will be a little better. I'm not a big fan of many new shows, so for me to even like this is a miracle in itself. Ed O'Neill really did a much better job than I ever thought he could in drama. I definitely enjoyed seeing him. Ethan Embry wasn't too bad, a little annoying, lol...

Oh please. The Practice is old and tired. David Kelley is losing his touch big time. Go Dragnet!

anyone who says that the practice is "old and tired" obviously isnt watching it. i would think that the fact that ed o'neal is in dragnet would keep people from watching. he should stick with comedy because this sucks!

I have really liked what I've seen with this new "Dragnet."

Ed O'Neill is a pretty good cop. I think this may be the only mid season show worthy of sticking around.

TV-14???? Dragnet shouldn't have violence, language and sexual content. I'll stick with the old show, thank you very much.

I'll always prefer the old Dragnet, but the new one isn't as bad as I thought it would be, so far as I've seen.

I've only seen one episode of the show & from what i saw, i liked it. Did the show get cancelled already? I haven't seen it on tv lately.

They're still on where I live. Of course it's rerun season now, but they had new episodes up through the season finale. I haven't heard if it will be back for the fall, but I kind of hope so.
