I guess you guys all heard about space shuttle Colombia crashing today. It almost reminds me of Challenger back in the 80s. I feel horrible for those astronauts...

it is very disturbing. America is already in eniugh stress. It is just liek the challenger. Did you know lance Bass was suppsoed to be on the space craft Columbia? i think it was this flight. Good thing they fired him from being able to go.

its so sad....one of my neighbors went to school w/ david brown who was on the columbia..

It definately brings back memories og the Challenger explosion. It is especially sad hearing that woman, Laurel Clark saying how happy she was to be coming back home.

I heard about it awhile ago.

I was watching the news coverage this afternoon. That's absolutely terrible. They were so close to landing, too.

I was in the third grade when Challenger exploded and I can remember the school patching the news updates through the intercom system. Ronald McNair was from a town 20 minutes from where I lived. The entire student body wrote letters to his wife and kids saying how sorrry we were that somethink like that happened. I even have a picture of his name that is in the monument at The Cape.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the 7 seven families of the astronauts; to the entire NASA family because this is also affected them; and to the Israeli nation who lost a national hero.
