The official Unsolved Mysteries web site has a profile on Gordon Page, Jr. (even though the segment originally aired in the fall of 1994). Sadly, he remains missing.

That is a very heartbreaking story. That poor young man was diagnosed with autism when he was 27. Before that he was given the wrong medications because the doctors thought it was something else and then he ended up escaping from a hospital and never seen again. I can't believe that there have been no sightings, I just can't believe that at all. I don't know how Gordon could survive on his own given his medical condition.

Sadly, I must say that, despite my hopes, he is more than likely dead, and like (iirc) Philip Taylor, his body will be found someday, perhaps in a remote or unaccesible spot near where he was last seen that no one has thought to look.
Sorry to have to say that this is my opinion. Sir Rhosis |
