Here is a link on Tammi Leppert. As it implies, she is still missing.

I went to that website and tragically, if cops suspect that guy did it and he is dead not, no one will ever know what happened. to her. I know cops think she could have been lured in by this creep with his fake modeling promises but remember how paranoid she was of everyone before she disappeared? I find it hard to believe she wpouldnt have flipped out if ANY man had approached her. BUT....she is very unique looking and if were still alive I think someone woulda recognized her by now.

Leppert is indeed still missing.
As area director of South Florida for http://doenetwork.org I have been in contact with Leppert's brother-in-law. One she doesn't even know... He says that there are... strange occurences for this case. I do know them, but am not at liberty to discuss. I will, however, tell that we both think Leppert was a victim of little known serial killer Christopher Wilder. |

I have a question: did Tammys strange behavior and paranoia have anything at all to do with her disapearnace or was that just coincidental? (Thanks for the update, it stinks to hear that she may have fallen into the hands of a serial killer)

Thanks, yeah, I just caught it today, since I was sick from work. it sucks to think that she witnessed something she shouldn't have and then was a victim.

What was the thing she witnessed? I've only seen the case once and that was 4 years ago.
Also when did the episode air? (Just the year would be fine.) What else was on the episode? |

Well, she apparently witnessed something probably violent but she wouldn't tell her mom or anyone, because she was so afraid that the individual would get her. They said that she broke down on the set of Scarface, while witnessing a gunshot scene for the movie. When she was hysterical, she said something about money laundering, nothing else.

After the segment on Tami, they did a long segment on UFO sightings in New York and around the New York area. For the last segment, they did a murder case on a police chief who murdered his girlfriend, it was an update and he was finally caught and sentenced to a prison term.

The ep. guide lists something similar - and it's the 5th season premiere.
September 16, 1992 The fifth season begins with a UFO story involving a 1983 incident in the skies over New York and Connecticut. Also: reports on the disappearance of an 18-year-old woman last seen with an acquaintance; the death of an unidentified man at the Paducah, Ky., airport. I remember watching the UFO segment and the Paducah John Doe segment back in its original airing, but that's it. But then again it isn't the first time that's happened - until I got the tape I remembered quite a bit about the Horicon, WI haunted house and bits of the General Wayne Inn haunting segments, but nothing about the Queen Mary or the Tatum haunting segments. The murdering cop one, that's the one where he took her body out to a field where he knew there was jurisdiction problems, right? And he and his victim lived in the same building? |
