Some questions about Good Charlotte - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Sorry if any of these questions have been covered before but I just wanted to ask some things -

1. I'm aware that GC have released 2 albums in the US and that 'The Young and the Hopeless' was their second US album. In the UK 'TY&TH' is only their first release - the first US album is not yet available here. What was their first US album called?

2. Who or what is 'Cashdogg'?

3. Who is older - Benji or Joel. And what age are they?

4. All the lassies seem to fancy Joel - does noone fancy Benji??

5. Do you seriously consider GC to be a punk/rock band? I don't- they're cool but they're nothing more than a pop band with a few daft haircuts and piercings thrown into the mix.

6. What is the twins MTV show like? It's never been shown on MTV:UK but I heard it was just a load of crappy mainstream 'rock' videos like Blink 182 and crap like that.

7. What's your fave track on 'TY&TH'? Mine's 'Girls & Boys'.

I'm not a HUGE Good Charlotte fan, but I do know some answers to those questions.
1. Their first US album is called Good Charlotte.
2. Their pet dog...I think.
3. Benji and Joel are twins. I don't know who is older...they were born in March of 1979, making them now 23.
4. LOL I always thought everyone liked Benji better. Hmm....
5. No. I consider them pop-punk.
6. It's okay...
7. The Anthem, Say Anything, The Day that I Die. I used to like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous but I don't like it that much anymore...

5. They just look punk, the music isn't. Their first album was more rock though but the new one is plain pop.

6. All Things Rock is okay, it's not all mainstream ****.

5. No. Like I said, a LOT more 'poppy' then I listen to. They do have the guitars thrown in there though. So at least they aren't like the boy bands

I remember benji and Joel Coombs. I used to go to school with them. They graduated from la Plata High School in 1996-1997, so they were at least 18 when they graduated. They were in my theater arts class and they used to crack the class up with their antics. I looked forward every day to that class just to see what they would be up to. I remember one day during a hurricane at school, Benji and Joel got out their guitars and played a song called "Gravity Girl". That's my fondest memory of them. I haven;t seen them since they graduated, but I know that they are doing real well for themselves. I think i have Joel's e-mail address somewhere, and we keep in touch. That's about all that i know about Benji and Joel.

I think theyre nothing more than *nsuck w/ guitars. Awhile ago every1 liked em so i guessed they were pretty good and i downloaded some songs thinkin they were gonna be all punk and hardcore...avril gets more hardcore than them. their songs are really annoying too.

They're a mix of alotta stuff. like pop, rock, hip hop, etc.
