Default Michael Douglas Don't Say A Word

Has anybody seen this movie? I haven't seen it. It came on cable tonight but i missed it cause i was watching the basketball game. Who was that woman that was Michael's wife? She was cute, i've seen her in something before. I didn't know Brittany Murphy was in this movie & i didn't know Guy Torry was in it either. I'm gonna have to rent this. What is it about? Has anybody seen Michael in Traffic also? I haven't seen that one either but my brother has it on dvd, i'm gonna have to watch it. His wife Catherine Zeta Jones, Dennis Quaid, Don Cheadle are also in it.

Don't Say A Word is a complete bore that basically milks everything out of the two brilliant main performers (Douglad, Murphy) until they even get boring. There is no actual real plot, and the entire film is topsy-turvy. It totally forgets the entire film's purpose...a man trying to find his kidnapped daughter. Instead it turns out to be a man trying to befriend a wacko cult-like person who'll "never tell". Lemmie just say...I could've cut out 30 minutes of the film, and it would've improved. D+.

It's a complete piece of crap.
It personifies everything that is wrong with movie making today.

And Jennifer Esposito as a New York cop - a lanky, sexy 20 something year old NYC female detective with NO partner, investigating a case on her own- was embarassing and 100% unbelievable.

It belongs in the same crap distinction as 15 Minutes.

Good actors should know better- and worst of all, I think they do.

I can't see Jennifer Esposito playing a cop either by herself. She was in Spike Lee's Summer Of Sam movie, she liked that weird dude who was a stripper at some movie theatre & he would do sexual stuff for men in the bathroom. His hair was spiked, he was a odd dude. So Michael Douglas movie sucked huh? He usually doesn't make bad movies. How was his movie Shining Through with Melanie Griffith? I was thinking about seeing that a long time ago.

Saw Shining Through a while ago but I remember liking it at least a little bit.

Nothing great, just entertaining, light fluff.

I wasn't too fond of Don't Say a Word either. Famkke Jansen was the name of the actress that played Michael Douglas' wife.

If it's got Michael Douglas in it, I'm never seeing it.
