Default The Defining FRIENDS moment for you

I've been watching/taping some of my older FRIENDS tapes for someone and I was just wondering what everyone's favorite, most defining moment of FRIENDS was?

Ross and Rachel are my favorite couple, I've loved them since the first season when it was revealed that Ross loved her. My favorite moment comes from "The One With The Prom Video" where the friends were watching the video and see how Ross tried to help Rachel out when they thought Chip wasn't showing up for her prom. The best MOMENT was when they shut the TV off, Monica says "I can't believe you did that" and Rachel walks over to Ross, never saying a word, and kisses him. If I could only ever watch one episode of FRIENDS from now on that would be it.

Anyone else?

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

its hard to say the prom video is a great episode.

i love the one where no ones ready.....just when Joey & Chandler were fighting over that chair. thats a great episode

i love the episode with Ross & Rachel when they break up. i just think thats one of the best moments because its so emotional.

Also when Phoebe crys after she just had her babies. thats a great episode

also when Ross & Rachel have their first big kiss at Central Perk. I love that scene

there are so many more. i could name them for hours

The defining Friends moment for me is when Chandler admits that he loves Monica. That episode is so funny and so sweet at the end when they tell each other "I love you," it is by far one of the best episodes of the series.

The New Years resolutions one.

Anything with Chandler even talking about his parents.

Anything with Phoebe singing, especially where she's winging at that school.

P.S. The defining one being the New Years one...it showed all the characters to perfection. Another defining moment was where they promise not to have dates for New Years. Those two episodes showed us who the characters were.

Another one of my favorite scenes (although not as favorite as the Prom one) is The One With The new Years Resolutions when Ross wears the leather pants on his date. IN that bathroom, coated with lotion and powder and he smacks himself on the head - that is just kick my butt funny!!!!!!!!!!

how about when Ross & Rachel had just gotten married & they come out & throw the rice up in the air yelling "hello, Mr.Rachel, Mrs Ross" i love that moment

or when Rachel kisses Winona Ryder and Phoebe kissing Rachel. thats too classic

I like the episode when Ross is putting makeup on Rachel. I thought that was really funny cos she looked like a hooker

One of my fave lines ever is:

Rachel:how can you watch this? arent you scared?
Joey: Terrified

i just love that moment (even tho im not an Joey/Rachel fan)

I just remembered this..

When Ross has the Afro wig on (On the night of the Prom) Joey looks at Ross and says.... "Hello Mr. Kotter".... I always laugh when I see that part.

I love them all! Ok, to name a few, I liked the one where everyone finds out, the one with the prom video, the one where Ross finds out...umm, there's more but I'll stop there.

Hmm...defining moment...that's tough!

As far as dramatic moments go:
Ross/Rachel's first kiss
Chandler saying he's in love with Monica
Joey telling Rachel he loves her

Comedic moments:
Joey and Chandler fighting over the chair!!

I like the episode when Chandler proposes to Monica with the candles and the dimmed lights. It was very sweet and lovely.

To remember a specific episode? *whistles

One of the defining moments, was when they wrote their wedding vows..
O i remember the quote "don't worry, we'll make your's funnier"

and when he reads Monica's to the guys (it's so beautiful) Ross says "I've never known love like this" and then Chandler says he stole mon's *L
