We have it on here every day at 1:30 on CTS, chopped up versions, bu still, it's so nice seing her in something different for a change! I just saw the Danny Kaye one and in a few weeks will see the Dean Martin one again after decades of waiting.

Yeah, but it is too bad neither one of her shows were on in evening like The Andy Griffith Show & Gomer, Pyle U.S.M.C..

The schedule, in my opinion, should have been this:
7:35- "Leave it to Beaver"
8:05- "The Andy Griffith Show"
8:35 "The Beverly Hillbillies"
11:35 "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C."
5:05- "I Dream of Jeannie"
5:35- "Bewitched"
6:05- "I Love Lucy"
6:35- "The Lucy Show"

In Canada, it's CTS, which has Christian programming, trust me, it's the ONLY reason to go to that channel. Family Affair and Seventh Heaven are starting to look good to me, but my blood sugar's to high to take a look at them though!

I wish one of my local stations would air The Lucy Show. The only "classic" show that is currently being played where I live is I Love Lucy. I am happy with that BUT they could add some more classics such as The Lucy Show, ect.

Yes, I remember watching The Lucy Show on TBS back in the mid 80's. As a matter of fact, when we first got our cable system back in 1984,I watched it. Beforehand, when I was little,it was on our San Antonio station on weekdays and sometimes on weekends. That was back in the mid and late 1970's. I remember watching The Lucy Show on Nick at Nite back in the early 90's also as well. I wish that someone in this area would bring back not only The Lucy Show but Here's Lucy as well

Well, if it makes you feel better, CTS stopped airing it just as they were about to start the fourth thru sixth seasons, so i only have the first three, and i was so looking forward to seing the Dean Martin one again, one of her favorites and one of her best shows!

[sorry for bringing up a semi-old topic, but I thought this could be added]

As most of you could probably see from boeschner's TBS log, The Lucy Show aired on TBS:

The Lucy Show (?-September 13, 1980) (June 2, 1984-May 31, 1985) (August 29, 1987-August 26, 1988) *I should also note that it was on in 1979, from the week that boeschner has in the log.

NOTE: My companion is starting with 1979. info from December 16, 1976-November 2, 1979 is unavailable

As far as I understand, TBS was then and still is known for its comedy. And that's quite a sitcom lineup! Seeing it, it's amazing that Nick at night became as successful as it did, because that's the very year Nick at night launched, and from what I can see, this lineup is very much in competition with Nick at
night lineup, not that they showed the same programming, but it's the same type of programming.

But that TBS lineup was for the daytime. Back in those early days of Nick at Nite (and I guess it's still true today) those comedies only aired at night, while the Nickelodeon kids show format aired during the daytime. So there was no direct competition.

Maybe you could argue that 85 lineup is better than today's lineup.

It is quite the lineup looking more and more like Antenna TV, ME-TV and what Nick at Nite used to be.
