Default Password Plus

Does anyone know if Password Plus (1979) will be making a comeback to the Game Show Network?

It pops up every now and then. I think your best bet to see it would be in GSN's rotating 9-11am block where they rotate some of the lesser known/lower rating shows every few months.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE: GSF TAPE GIVEAWAY- Due to an email glitch with the form I use on the site, any requests for tapes that were emailed after September 2006 need to be resent in order to have your name on the list. The form should be fixed now. Please only resubmit the form once. The new form system will let you know if an error has occurred.

I heard that when they show it there it was only the episodes with the other host, Tom Kennedy. I'm not really interested in the episodes with him hosting. I guess I'll just have to wait.

Actually, it's the other way around. The majority of the time that Password Plus is on, Allen Ludden is the host. The Kennedy episodes were played for a month back in September, though.

Are you serious?! When they first started that they showed Tom Kennedy. My cousin, who is usually good at getting the info. for shows on GSN, told me it was just gonna be the episodes with Tom so I just stopped watching all together.

Ever since I had GSN (since about February 2001), all the episodes that were shown were from the Ludden/Cullen era with the exception of past September when Kennedy's episodes were shown for a month.

I see you are a fan of Elizabeth Montgomery. I assume that's why you wanted information on P+ since she was on there a few times. If I have some time this weekend, I'll try to dig up an episode and take some pictures and post them for you. Can't make any promises, but I'll try my best.

Yep, that I am! All I need from Password Plus is the first episode with Elizabeth and Robert Foxworth (I'm still curious who won that one hehe) and Elizabeth and Bert Convey. And I've already taped the one with Liz and Wesley Eure from the last time it was shown on GSN.

I love Password Plus!! I wish GSN would bring it back, but it seems unlikely for the time being. I know Trivia Trap will be leaving GSN in favor of Card Sharks in the beginning of March, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong).

That must mean that Cark Sharks was never a big ratings winner for GSN, either.

That is correct, Card Sharks will be replacing Trivia Trap effective March 17, 2003. I don't believe that Card Sharks garnered bad ratings, it's just GSN has to overkill....er....show their originals three times a day, so the classics are dumped, especially if they surround an existing block of originals (the afternoon, primetime, or latenight).

Assuming I did the math correctly, come March 17, the GSN schedule will be 44% originals, counting reruns and not counting paid programming time.

Talking Happy Birthday,Pandora!!!

Just wanted to wish you Happy Birthday!!!

I love Elizabeth Montgomery too,she was a very pretty lady!!!

I don't know if you ever watched the original Password shows from the 60's and 70's that the Game Show Network aired back when it first started but I think that Elizabeth was a guest on either the CBS version from the 60's or the ABC version from the 70's!!! Maybe someone out there has a tape from any of those episodes if they exist or if they even showed any with Elizabeth Montgomery on the original Password!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,PANDORA!!!

Aww, thank you! hehe.
Yes, Elizabeth is very pretty! I wasn't around when they first aired (I'm only 19!), but I've seen the episodes the Game Show Network has played well except for two Password Plus episodes. I haven't seen the one with Elizabeth and husband Robert Foxworth (I'm curious to know who won that one, no don't tell me!) and the P+ episode with Liz and Bert Convy. I have all the episodes from The CBS Password (1961 - 1967). I'm still waiting for those The ABC Password (1971 - 1975) episodes, but I've heard they were destroyed.

Here's yet another shameless plug to Harpies Bizarre.com.

Does anyone have episodes of Password Plus that they would love to tape for me. I will be willing to pay for the tape along with the shipping charges. Please email me if anyone have those shows on tape. Thanks.

Yeah, me too. Even though my favorite episodes are with Liz I still love the other episodes too.
