Felix Brown was actually mentioned in two different episodes. In "Father of the Year", when Marcia was writing Mike's nomination letter, Jan suspected she was really writing a love letter to Felix Brown. And in "Vote for Brady", Greg's campaign manager suggested spreading a rumor that Marcia was seen at the movies in the balcony with "that creep, Felix Brown!" We never did get to see Felix, but I suspect that he was a lot like Harvey Klinger.

The "no peddlers" guy was the same guy (Mr. Duggan) who sued Carol in "The Fender Bender".

Alfie, the silver salesman from "Amateur Night", was the same guy who took the anniversary photo of the kids in "The Not-So-Rose Colored Glasses". Guess he only appeared in anniversary-related episodes.

Mark Millard, who tried to swindle Alice in "Alice's September Song" (one of my least favorite episodes) changed his name to Pete Sterne and hosted the TV talent show in "Amateur Night".

(BTW, I hated how the other Linda said "Seattle". Anyone else remember this?)

That "Se-at-tle" pronounciation drives me nuts!!!!! Where in the world was the dialogue coach that day?!!!

OK...here's my run-down of multiple appearances:

Remember the guy to whom Bobby and Oliver were trying to sell hair tonic to, and he said, **"I'm a night watchman--who wants to look good for a burglar?" He was also the guy (Mr. Dimsdale) who ran the recording studio when the kids sang, "It's Time to Change." He also was the mailman who delivered Alice's winning entry letter in the "Cindy the Tattletale" episode.
**(By the way, who answers their door like, "Whadda YOU want?")

Alfie, the silver platter salesman, played the flaky photographer in the "Jan ruins the family portrait with her bike" episode.

Pete Stern was also Mark Millard, Alice's ex-boyfriend-turned-scheister!

The magic salesman trying to sell Peter tricks for his show also was the hardware store salesman trying to sell the boys glue in the "Don't Play Ball in the House" episode.

The Checker Trading Stamps saleman who finally lets the girls in to buy the sewing machine also was Marcia's driving instructor/testor in the "Greg vs. Marcia in Driving" episode.

Mike's friend, the realtor who tried to sell their house (when the kids "haunted" it), also was a judge in the talent show where Peter was doing his magic show.

The librarian who gave Mike the books on Jesse James was also the drama teacher when Jan was trying out for the school play and bombed.

An interesting note: the man who said, "I wasn't aware that the head of the department of sanitation had a fan club." in the "Getting Davy Jones" episode years later played Mike's boss Mr. Phillips in the Very Brady Sequel Movie (remember Peter brained him in the head with a pair of nun-chucks?)! Yes, same actor!

The lady who sold Jan her groovy black wig ("I want something crazy--like the style you're wearing!") was also the teacher who was so excited that Marcia was getting Davy jones to their Jr. Prom.

The creep Jerry Rogers who stole Greg's playbook was also, a couple seasons earlier, the guy that Greg wanted to move in with in the "Who gets the Attic" episode.

The man who played Mr. Haskell, the ice cream shop owner, did cartoon voices--he was the voice of Fred Flinstone, among others!

Warren, the acordian kid, looked to me like a junior Weird Al Yankovic!

I thank God we never saw Harvey Klinger again!!!!! What a dork!

Jim Bacchus played Mike's boss, Mr. Matthews the pool shark, AND that dusty old prospector in the Grand Canyon trilogy.

The girl who played Greg's date Rachel also played Marcia's friend "Jenny Wilton'' in the slumber-party episode, as well as being in the beauty parlor when Greg went there to fix his orange hair. The other girl in the beauty parlor with her was Florence Henderson's daughter, who was in the slumber party episode, too, and also played "Mrs. Benedict Arnold" in the school play opposite Peter.

Nicholas Hammond, who played Doug Simpson (the "Oh, My Nose!" episode) played Freiderich Von Trapp in the movie "The Sound of Music." He also played Peter Parker in the 70's real-life show "Spiderman."

Remember in the "Grand Canyon" shows where Alice says "I hope I don't run into Tonto!" Well, Chief Eagle Feather, Jimmy Picaya's grandfather, is the actor Jay Silverheels, who actually played Tonto in "The Lone Ranger" TV series from the 50's!!!

That's about all I can think of for now--if I remember any more, I'll post them!

Maybe these people had not found their "niches" in life in the earlier episodes. Hence a ghost town prospector finds a job as a corporate vice-president, etc, etc...

For instance...

When I was in 6th grade I had a history teacher who was kind of bizarre. He would hit people with magazines if he got angry. He would ask girls inappopriate embarrassing personal questions.

Anyways, a year later I saw him working in a booth at the mall selling insurance or something.

In which episode was this Seattle quote? The only time I remember it was when Alice was going to move there in the first season.

Actually a man named Whitney Rydbeck played the part of the man at the tv station. Mr. Phillips was played in both movies by Steven Gilborn, who also played Kevin Arnold's math teacher for one year on The Wonder Years and played Ellen Morgan's dad on Ellen.

He also played an older guy who was hitting on a girl during "Our Son, the Man", and he played a friend of Greg's in "The Wheeler Dealer". Four guest appearances as different characters each time was probably a record.

He was also the voice of Arnie Barkley on The Barkleys. The Barkleys was the reason why I rarely watched The Brady Kids, since it was on at the same time as The Barkleys.

That weird pronounciation of "Seattle" was in the episode where Greg is in love with his math teacher, Linda O'Hara (I can't remember the official name of the episode.)

I could have sworn those two actors (the movie Mr. Philips and the TV station guy) were the same guy! Seems I read that on another Brady site, so I guess THEY were wrong too!

I forgot about "Jerry Rogers' " other two appearances--thanks! He was supposed to be only 1 year older than Greg in the "Who gets the attic?" episode, but he was much older than Greg in the "Our son, the man" episode (a senior, vs. Greg the freshman)!

Maybe he failed a few grades between these episodes or something!
