Default Beaver's Shirt Sleeves Change

I think this was the ep., where Beaver thinks him and his family, are moving away. Does anyone remember it? I think it was one of the early eps., and Beaver's whole class gives him going away presents. Well, I'm pretty certain this was the ep., but not sure Beaver is in Miss Lander's classroom sitting at his desk. When you saw his face in one the scenes he had on a short sleeve shirt I think, then when they showed him on the side he had on a shirt with long sleeves. I am absoulutly sure about this and I'm don't remember what ep. it was in, but I think it was where Beaver thinks he's moving ep. Hmmm, where they trying to see what shirt he looked best in, from his face and his side? Hope you understand what I mean, and I wonder why one min. he had short sleeves the next long sleeves? The short ones I think were when you could see his face, and the long ones were from when you saw only his side. This is really odd. Maybe I was just imagining it, but I'm absoulutly sure it happend.

Were their any other little clips like these, where one of the character's clothes, or etc. changed?

Oh, and thanks to those who have answered, my other posts so far and thanks to anyone else!!

I'll have to watch that episode and see about Beaver's shirt. I think they filmed different parts of the scenes at different times and maybe didnt always pay attention to the clothing or things like that. The one episode I have noticed something like that is when Beaver wants to be adopted. When he is at the adoption agency talking to the lady in charge, watch the way his bangs are combed. in the same scene they change from hanging down to a point on his forehead to being combed nicely. They must have taken a break from filming and when they resumed his hair was combed differently.

Dear FonzisLeatherJacket,

I can think of another episode where you can see changes in the same scene where they shouldn't of happened. The episode is about the play the Beaver is in, "The Little Dutch Boy."

Beaver is in the hallway at school talking over a scene with the girl who is going to be his leading lady, Gretchen. The Little Dutch Boy is suppose to kiss Gretchen in the play, and both children are discussing how they will get through it. If you look closely, the girls braids are in front of her shoulders, then behind her shoulders and then back in front. Obviously there were more than one take for that scene and she changed her hair between takes.

But for all the episodes that involve children, I'm suprised there aren't a lot more camera goofs due to retakes. The producers and directors did a fine job filming LITB.

Default Another slip up in filming

Hello all you Beaver fans!!

I never would pick at one of my favorite sitcoms, but we were discussing some slip ups in filming LITB. I've found another one in the episode where Beaver, Larry and Whitey form a "Pigeon Club."

Beaver's pigeons die while he is upstairs sick with the chicken pox. Larry and Whitey come over to bury the pigeons in the backyard. Whitey is carrying a shoebox to use as a coffin for the pigeons.

Watch the scene where the two boys come to the Cleavers' back door. From the distant shot, Larry has his hands down at his side and it looks as though he isn't holding anything. When they show a closeup of the two boys, Larry is holding a shovel up near his chest with both arms.

Then they show the distant "kitchen" shot and Larry has his arms down at his side without the shovel again. Then they show the close up and "Yep!" He's holding the shovel near his chest.

I'm a little surprised they let that one go, but it took me years to notice it......

...... One of my favorite lines by Wally (about 14 years old)..... The scene is at the dining room table and he is reading an invitation to a dance at a country club. "... Now why would Mary Ellen go and pull a dirty trick like that for?"
