Right on. I respect cops and all, except like dawsongirl said, the ones that abuse their power like the one time I saw a cop driving on the shoulder just to get out of traffic.

My father was a well respected and hard working Police Officer. We should all give our thanks to the brave men and women who risk their lives every day.

Although half of our police force (which is about 6 or 700 people) are young and arrogant. The other half my mother knows

They are the older ones, veterans. Great people. But the others, yep... they're Springfield's Finest

If 9/11 was a horse, it'd be dead as a doornail. Please stop exploiting a tragedy. The cops who were there and acted above and beyond the call of duty deserve all the credit for that. It doesn't automatically rub off on every other cop in the world.
