To Pavandabal and TJ and other moderators of this site:
I was thinking that this website could use a Trivia section where fans of a specific series, or even for sitcoms in general, could exchange questions, anecdotes, and little-known facts with others, and in general learn more about their favorite shows while having fun at the same time. So how about it, guys? While we're on the subject, who wants to ask the first question? I'm ready! |

Multiple answeres for this one...name 3 or more different series that had the same actor or actress. Not just on a few times but on a regular basis.

Estelle Getty appeared as the same character (Sophia Petrilla) on 3 different series: Golden Girls Empty Nest Golden Palace George Wendt and John Rattzenberger (I've probably misspelled his name) made appearances as "Norm Peterson" and "Cliff Claven" on the following shows: Cheers (of course!) Wings (Guest appearance) Fraiser (Guest appearance) Also, numerous actors/characters exchanged visits between the shows which made up Paul Henning's "Country Trilogy": The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, and Green Acres. |

The question specifically asked for 3 different series, so these answers shouldn't count. |

Two's ok with me if the rest of you want to do it, too! We can bend the rules a little...or we can have a NEW question....which actors/actress appeared in two and two only?! Or any amount except only one.

To LucyFan,
Some of the actors/actresses you named as in two shows were actually in three. Here are the ones I noticed. Ellen Degeneres actually was in three shows. Open House (she played a secretary in this short lived comedy) Ellen (1994-1998) The Ellen Show (2001-2002) Ed Asner, also appeared in three shows -The Mary Tyler Moore Show -Lou Grant -Thunder Alley Tom Bosley was in -Happy Days -Father Dowling Mysteries -Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (Cartoon) Sherman Hemsley was in -All in the Family -The Jeffersons -Amen |
