Fan Fic: Robbery

[Rebel Queen 1980]

It's a cold January 1984 night and the last costumer is paying
at Edna's Edibles,Mrs.Garrett has the girls cleaning up while she
is taking care of the last order.
Mrs.Garrett:There you are 1/2 dozen chocolate crossiants.
Customer:Thank you.
The customer leaves.
Mrs.Garrett:Well girls there goes another busy day.
Tootie: Yeah and we had a great sale too!
Just as Mrs.Garrett heads over to flip the Open/Closed Business
Sign on the door,a man walks in.wearing all black,including one of
those panty-hose robber mask.
Mrs.Garrett: Yes,may I help you. ( says this frightened)
Robber: Hand me all the money now lady!
Mrs:Garrett : Excuse me?
He thens pulls out a gun.
Robber: You heard me! ( points gun at Mrs.Garrett)
Mrs.Garrett rushes and starts grabbing money out of the register.
As she does this Blair walks in.
The Robber notices Blair wearing tons of jewelry
Robber :Miss,hand it over!
Blair: Hand what over?
Robbe: Your jewerly!(points gun at Blair)
Blair takes off her jewelry quickly when she notices the gun.
Tootie,Natalie and Jo walk behind and rush over to Mrs.Garrett.
Tootie: What 's going on?
Blair whispers but is still audible.
Blair:Tootie shh!
Robber own on all the floor all of you!
They slam down on the floor,Jo is angry and tries to get up again
but Blair slaps her arm and pulls her back down.
Blair: Jo! are you crazy he's got a gun!
Jo:So what !you nobody orders me around,and besides we need
some protection!,now let me go!.
The Robber heads outside to scan for police,while he is gone
Jo gets up and looks around the shop.
Blair: Jo get down!
Jo: Hey !,it's up to me to protect us!
Blair:Jo,he has a gun,what you are gonna do,stomp him down
with your Nikes and then run him over with your bike?!
Jo: That's option number one,and option number two is.
She notices the meat cleaver that Mrs.Garrett had left on the
counter when she had cut bratwurst in the morning,she grabs it.
Natalie:Jo are you crazy.
Jo slams down the cleaver on the floor beside the counter,
the girls and Mrs.Garrett jumps it metallic slam(wham!)
Girls and Mrs.Garrett: Ah!
Robber comes back in and Jo hides the cleaver.
Robber:All right,so there's cops and don't anyone calling the cops,
anyone who does is going to lose their life!,is that clear?
The Girls then freeze as the Robber sits by them in a chair
he grabs off one of the tables and takes them hostage.

Thanks!,here's some more!
The Robber has the girls and Mrs.Garrett stay there until morning,
so that means they had to sleep there on the floor,they have their same clothes on,They all wake up to face him again.
Robber:Ok,you're allowed one change of clothes,but make it fast!
They go upstairs to change,Mrs.Garrett goes with the girls this
time for benefit of their safety. then they head back downstairs.
As they all enter the shop again ,They notice six customers in line.
Robber:Who are they? (refering to the people outside)
Mrs.Garrett:They are customers.
Robber:Well tell him you're closed.
Mrs.Garrett heads outside and the Robber points the gun at
Blair,Jo,Tootie and Natalie to make sure that they stay put.
Mrs.Garrett: I' m sorry we're closed,you'll have to come some other day,One of my helpers is sick today.(lying)
Customers: Ahhh,(In disappointment)
She heads back inside,and lays back on the floor.
Tootie: Mrs.Garrett I have an idea.(whispers)
They huddle together and Tootie whispers her plan.
Tootie:Ugh,I thinkl I 'm gonna be sick!(fakingly moans
Robber :What is it this time.
Tootie: Maybe I please go to the bathroom.
Robber:No stay put!
Tootie:Please!,ack,ugh!ack,(fakingly gags)
Robber: Ok,But hurry up.,Jo thens get up angrily.
Tootie runs to the bathroom as she were going to vomit.
Jo: Alright,I have had it!,You better start treating us right
or else this is war between you and me!.
Robber notices she has on he fatigues and jacket on,and as usual
the angry,don't mess with me look.
Robber: What are you gonna do,shoot me!(laughs )
Jo:I'm not playing games here buddy!
She grabs the meat cleaver from the floor and walks over to him,
Mrs.Garrett: Jo,careful! (says this frightened )
Jo knocks the gun out of the robber's and points the blade
toward the Robber.
Jo:Now,you listen to me here,or else you will be sold as stew meat!,Is that clear mister!
Robber backs down scared.
Rpbber:Hey !no problem.
Jo:Blair grab me some rope will 'ya!
Blair:But Jo!
Joon't but Jo me!,just do it.
Blairs heads back into the kitcken,
Tootie heads back down and is shocked.
Tootie:Oh my gosh!
Mrs.Garrett:Seems to me we've a got someone brave here.
Blair: Here Jo.
Jo: Thanks .She ties up the robber.
Blair: Wait there's something missing!
She ties a scarf- belt from her dress over the robber's mouth.
They head back to the floor once the robbers tied.
Mrs:Good going girls,I thought this could be done!.
Jo: Hey no sweat Mrs.G!
Mrs.Garrett:Jo,I'm so proud of you!,you did something that really
took courage and so well too!.
Blair:I am too!.I didn't thinl that not even you would've been able
to withstand this ,it was tough Jo,it seems you're tougher.
They all hug Jo!
Mrs.Garrett:Tootie here's to your wonderful plan!.
They all hug Tootie.
Tootie: Well it was nothing,now we cn just get the police over
here before he tries to break loose.
Robber:Hey let me go!(muffled)
Jo: Not on your life!(she points the cleaver back at him)

Tootie :Ok!
Tootie picks up phone and dials O
Tootie:Hello,operator get me the Peekskill police!
A woman answers the Phone.
Woman:Peekskill Police Department,may I help you.
Tootie:Yes,Hi,I'm Dorothy Ramsey from Edna's Edibles
please send an officer over,we were robbed!
Two officers arrive shortly.
Officer1:Mrs.Edna Garrett.
Mrs.Garrett:Yes?
Officer1:I'm officer Pete Hernandez,and this my partner
officer Frank Jackson,we understand this place was involved
in an armed robbery last night.
Mrs.Garrett:Yes it was,there's the robber on that chair
Officer2: What ?!,why isll wee he all tied up?!
Mrs.Garrett:Well we didn't him getting away,
Officer2:Good Thinking!
The two officers laugh.
Mrs.Garrett:We'd also like to thank a very brave young woman.
Officer1:Who's that ?
Mrs.Garrett: Jo!
Jo: Yes,Mrs.G?
Officer1:So you're pulled off this act of bravery,
Officer:Good job!
Officer2:The Robber is known as Vincent Joe Hunts age 28,two
counts assault,three counts armed robbery.we have take down
to the station and book him.
Officer1: So long ladies,and be careful,just because we live in a small town,don't exactly we're sheltered from danger!
Mrs.Garrett: Thanks again and we will.
Officers:And congratulations again Jo on a job well done
and here now is the ''Peekskill Bravery Award.''
They place a shiny gold medal on Jo's neck.
The officers shake Jo's hand and leave.
Mrs.Garrett:This calls for a celebration!,How about a large pizza
with everything on it and some hot chocolate!.
Jo: Sounds great Mrs.G!
They all hug Jo and then Mrs.Garrett goes over to the phone.
