Default What movies have you seen George Wendt in?

All my Wendt movies are coming in day by day and filling up the shelf and i just noticed, damn there are a lot. I was just wondering if you can recall what movies you guys have seen him in. I just want to know who's missing out and who's been listening to me.

Dreamscape was a good movie. I really can't name any off the top of my head, but I know there are a few that I've seen.

I remember seeing him in a Mel Gibson movie once. I can't remember what it was called though. It was the one when he is accidentally frozen and is revived some 50 years later or something. I think it might have been called Forever Young, but I'm not sure.

I was also channel-surfing late one night and caught an old episode of Columbo that he was on.

i saw a Colombo movie w/ George Wendt where there was a restaurant in it that had a Cheers-like look (windows, etc), but def. had a different feel (lol) and George was the bad guy in it. i dont think it was the one mentioned

No it's the same one. He plays a horse breeder and he killed his brother. And in the end he tells them that he buried the gun in his back yard and that he killed his brother and that other guy. It was a good movie. I got kind of the same Wendt vibe though. You should see his other movies.

I've only seen him in House, which was pretty forgettable. Although the best part of the movie was when his character came over with a six-pack of beer, and I could pretend I was watching Cheers instead.

I thought House was a great film. Although it was a horror film and was not really scary, you have to appreciate the way it was made and the film itself. I liked it.

I'm not sure what movies you already have, and I haven't seen anyone mention this, but George Wendt also appeared in "Fletch", starring Chevy Chase...Wendt played a guy (whom "Fletch" suspected of being involved in drug trafficking), who hung out at the beach all the time...everybody who was investigating Wendt's character knew that he was involved in the trafficking, but no one could prove it, because all he did was sit in a chair on all day long...

Wendt appears in some of the early scenes in the movie, but I can't remember how involved he really was...the plot begins in Los Angeles, and later brings Fletch to Utah...

Anyway, Wendt is in that one...however, that's the only movie I can think of off the top of my head that I've seen him in...

Default Yeah

He played Fat Sam. Great film. He didn't have the biggest part. But it was still a great movie.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Gung Ho. He was great in that movie.
