In my old school I was one once.... but in my new school (7th and 8th grade) Wow it's like..... unbelievable how much I am. And that's not always a good thing either. You get teased... a lot. But I'm like a pet to everyone in this school, I swear...teachers, the principal (I kno her...well outside of school too)...vice principals.... lunch ladies (I DON'T even know how that got started)...

You must know original & revival casts, soundtracks, performance runs, dates, theatres, numbers, how many Tony Awards A Chorus Line won. You must be Broadway. That's right bitches. I AM Broadway. |

I think it depends. Like in my classes, the so called "teachers pets" really aren't...they just seem to be the most outspoken ones in the classes who don't get introuble for speaking out. Does that make sense? Anyways, I don't think its that bad cuz its amusing. But like in other situations when people get special treatments and stuff over the other people in the class, then its bad.

I was always the kind of person who got annoyed at other people for being teachers' pets, but secretly enjoyed it when it was my turn. Most of the time in high school, teachers' were always, "She's got so much potential, but she refuses to use it. It's such a shame." My journalism teacher once was talking to a group of us, telling that we were really going to be surprised at how tough college was going to be. Everyone kept asking if she thought they'd do well based on their work. She tolld me, "If you put your mind to it, you could be extremely successful. But, I don't know how you'll wind up doing." That was me-- the waste of talent. It's ok, because it really doesn't bother me. Even though I might have not been as rigorous in my studies as I should have, I think I learned a lot about life. My favorite teacher in which I was "teacher's pet" was my high school drama teacher. She was awesome! Before becoming a teacher, she had done several off Broadway productions. She was always trying to convince me to take passion in what I was doing. She was such a big influence in my life. I guess that's why I really enjoyed being her "teacher's pet". But, in a sense, all us drama students were her special "pets."

I've always been the teacher's pet in elementry school, I'm embarrassed to say.
But now, I like fair teachers who treat all of his/her students equally.... That way, I can get away with writing hate letters.
