Default ABC Family airing a lot of reality series

For some reason ABC Family is airing alot of reality shows. They are rebrodcasting The Bachelor and also The Bachlorette and also Celebrity Mole Hawaii and some other stuff like that. I am not saying its a bad thing but i don't understand why they have to keep showing them.

Talk about overkill. There are also a lot of new reality series being put out, some of which are utterly ridiculous. Before long most TV will be reality TV and everybody will be sick of it and another trend will come alone. I think I'll stick with sitcoms, sports, and Alias

I think ABC Family is showing rebroadcast of alot of their shows because there are some viewers who never tune into the big 3 networks and only watch cable. So they show their shows from ABC on ABC Family hoping that those viewers will like the shows and tune in to the orignal broadcast on ABC.

The ABC Family Channel to me doesn't seem family-oriented anymore. For one, all they show during the prime-time schedule are reality shows or some show that have people be put against one another. Two, where did all of the family sitcoms go? Whatever happened to the afternoon and early evening reruns of Growing Pains, The Wonder Years, Step by Step, & Two of a Kind? 3) It seems like they airing less cartoons or shows for kids than they ever before. That is just terrible. In conclusion, I think ABC Family should change their channel title since most of their programming is becoming less family-oriented. In my opinion, the channel has gone downhill and I hope they come to their senses and realize that there is much more out there then just constant reality tv shows.

I love Reality television, but Ido think that ABC family is a little "over-doing" it. I mean the way they did the 2nd Bachelor episodes over and over and over again...I mean give me a BREAK. But I do like watching the shows, but now a hundered air-dates a piece... Anyways, and I also thought that Fox really over did it with the episodes of Joe Millionaire. I mean the same episode came on twice a week, ever week.... I mean we don't wanna see the same show 2 times. But I understand them wanting to pick up the viewers that missed the episodes the 1st time... Oh well ! Thats just my response... Does anyone agree?
