TVLAND to air "new episodes" of Archie Bunker's Place - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I got some good news for all of you Archie Bunker's Place fans!!!

According to www.tvguide.com, on January 27th, 2003 TVLAND will break the same old cycle and air episodes that it never aired before. Sony pictures must have cut a deal with TVLAND (a Viacom company and a competitor) to lease the broadcasting of these episodes.

How long it will last, I don't know. All I know is that when I visited the website and clicked on all of the episodes, I saw titles that were "new" to TVLAND's airwaves along with "new" synopsis.

Hopefully the whole series will be broadcast.

I was getting too sick and tired of the same episodes repeating over and over and over again. You could see the same episodes re-circulate within the duration of 3 weeks. This of course has been happening since late 2002 when ABP joined TVLAND's line-up.

Archie Bunker's Place airs on TVLAND at 4 and 4:30 Central time, 5 and 5:30 Eastern Time, and 2 and 2:30 Western time.

I can't wait. I was getting tired of the same eps too. I just hope they show every episode. Pav. has already posted the schedule and they'll go back to 1, just go look at the schedule and you'll see what they are doing. Later on tonight, I might come up with a list of all th episodes they aren't showing/isn't planned on showing.

BUMP! I had to bring this topic back up for those people who'd like to see a new episode today.

A New episode of ABP airs this afternoon, although the block starts at 5:00PM/Eastern a episode that hasn't been aired will play at 5:30PM/Eastern, "Barney and The Gambler" (#36) on TV Land.
