Starz! Westerns Channel has gotten the rights to "Alias Smith and Jones." No word on when it will start, but already on the schedule is Gunsmoke (seasons 7-11 B&W), The Lone Ranger, and The Gene Autry Show.
(Note on Gunsmoke, I think Hallmark has seasons 1-6 and TV Land has seasons 12-20.) |

So it's gonna be on Encore Westerns too right? Starz! Westerns and Encore Westerns each show "Gunsmoke" (1962-1965 seasons), "The Lone Ranger" and "The Gene Autry Show." I could have sworn that "Alias Smith and Jones" was a crime drama...

I was wild over Alias Smith & Jones when I was a young teen. I was IN LOVE with Peter Duel. I still have the newspaper clipping of his suicide. I remember feeling very sad when he died.
I thought he was gorgeous...those eyes, those dimples. |

I've never seen this show. I'm looking forward to it.
