Default Lucie Arnaz in ILL?

I was just on TV Now! and they listed Lucie Arnaz on an episode of "I Love Lucy":

I Love Lucy: The Very First Show
30 minutes-

A rebroadcast of the long-lost pilot for ``I Love Lucy,'' starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, includes interviews with the show's stars and writers. Host: Lucie Arnaz.

Wed Jan 1 11:00A LAND- TVLand

....interesting....

Cool

You've answered the question in your own post where it says that Lucie Arnaz is the the host of the re-broadcast not a participant in the show. However anyone familiar with the history of I Love Lucy, knows that Lucille Ball was 6 months pregnant with Lucie when the original pilot was filmed. So I guess in a way Lucie Arnaz was in I Love Lucy!

Yeah, and you have to remember that Lucie did make a guest appearance in the last episode, "The Ricardos Dedicate a Statue."

That wasn't Lucie. It was a friend of hers. She's said that herself.

I recall Lucie Arnaz saying that she didn't appear in the final episode of I Love Lucy in a TV Land interview that was aired back during the 50th anniversary marathon that TV Land had of I Love Lucy. I have that interview on tape.

Besides, that girl doesn't even resemble Lucie. And she's about ten feet tall. Lucie was only five and a half years old when that episode was filmed.

Sorry I've caused all this confusion! It's just that I've always thought that was Lucie.

Don't worry. A lot of people still think that.

Well, to make you feel better, it was written in many books! We finally learned the truth when Lucie told us the real version.

Bart Andrews started that rumor about Lucie being on ILL, and started or perpetuated a few others, like the one that Vivian Vance was born in 1913, four years later than when she was actually born. When the first version of his book came out, he even claimed that The Diet was the first filmed episode of ILL!

Is that a bad thing? I never saw that 40th anniversary disc (I didn't have a laser disc player). I assumed I was missing something by not owning a copy. Wasn't I?

That's a pretty strong statement, Dawsongirl. It sounds like you don't respect him at all. Anything you can share with us?

On the Joan Rivers talk show, for the promotion of the 40th anniversary laser disc, he seemed to know what he was talking about, as he was surrounded by Irma, the writers, and even Desi jr at one point. Join the club Jane, i don't have a copy of it either, i got the laser disc just before the bottom fell out, by then there were no copies left of it for sale here. Apparently Lucy did a running commentary like they do on DVD's now, so maybe they should wake up and transfer the whole thing to a DVD!
