Thumbs down This Weeks....

I Don't know why but I wasn't a big fan of it. It wasn't as good as the commercials led it on to be.

I actually preferred this weeks episode to last weeks episode...I think. I honestly didn't care for last weeks episode much. It might have been because I was sick though. There were aspects I liked, but the case was pretty boring. This case however they really tried with. I also loved the fact the four inspectors were working together, and they had a few scenes together.

Now I get to ramble, so just ignore the next few paragraphs...

Let me just start by saying I'm still waiting for Jinny and Nate to be introduced to each other. I know it will happen someday. They rarely have scenes together, so tonight was a nice change, it's just they've honestl never been introduced that I've seen, and that still bothers me! I don't know why, just does. For the sake of my sanity though, I'll assume they did that off screen.

Raina's situation is an interesting one I must admit. Her parents do seem interesting, a birthday cake to celebrate, well eh, yeah...? You have to feel sorry for Raina, trying to make the situation better only to make it worse. I'd be mad as fire if I were her as well though if my parents seperated and didn't tell me. HELLO?! She gets an A for effort for trying to make it better. Hopefully it will all work out, but I'm doubting it. I loved the thing with Cap though. I was holding my breath when she was sitting in the bathroom, just wondering who would walk in the door. I figured it would be Cap, but considering she partnered with Jin last week I was thinking the writer's might try something new... It was good to see Cap though. I absolutely love their relationship. It's so friendly and open and fresh. Raina is what Cap needs, and vice versa. Raina held her own this week, although I thought the individual scenes with each parent was kinda pushed. I found myself looking at the clock waiting for them to end and cut to the other stories taking place. Over all though...kudos. Did anyone notice how Raina's apartment fits her attitude so well? BRIGHT AND LOUD!

Nate was on the nonexistent side this week as well. He actually behaved himself, didn't have anything smart to say for a change. I missed his wittiness. At least we got the turtle story last week-nothing this week though. Bummer.

C.D. was there, I saw her, but I don't remember much. My strongest memory is of her cringing as they watched the tape of that lady telling how she was raped.

I'm still waiting for something to happen between Nate and C.D. I was all excited last week, hoping it would open that door, but the turtle story was all I got. The little spark there really needs to be like blown up. The writer's keep bringing up rape and what not, yet it's not effecting C.D. like I would expect, and Nate has yet to question her. All the signs are there though. She all but told him last season something happened, heck she did tell him something happened to her, just NOT AT CAMP. I'm gonna sit and wait and hold my breath and hope the writer's give us something between the two of them soon. Something like a nice heart to heart. I just love watching the two of them on screen together. Their friendship is great and they play off each other so well. Hopefully we will see more of the two of them in the next new episode, or at least I'm hoping so, considering yet again the storyline focuses on a subject sensitive to C.D...

Magda wasn't in the hospital! Hallelujah! However, it would be really nice to know how Ben is doing. I mean, we watched the little dude suffer all last episode, now we didn't even get a minor mention of his name. Anyway, she was back to her hard-nosed self, refreshing. Also, Gabe wasn't there...another plus. Mag was Mag, what else can I say.

Jinny is getting more colorful. A nice light blue shirt that actually had a v-neck to it-I was pleasingly shocked. Also, was that a dark brown leather jacket she was wearing with that black turtle neck? I'd be willing to bet a Spider Man pack of PEZ it was. Nice Anyway, I like Jinny-what can I say. She's witty like she was the first season, but in a lighter way, like the second season. She's seeming to come into her own. However, I'm wondering if Ronnie or John will ever be mentioned again? It's like tension was brought into the picture, now it's gone. Hold on, I'm gonna stop there, because I like the fact they centered an episode around a case. I'll hold off before I go wondering where the family is...

Cap...she's getting spoile rotten and loving it I do believe. I think I'll give Loius the line of he night, asking if he can be the first lady. That was hilarious in its own right. Anyway, like I said in a previous post I'm gonna be selfish and say I hope Cap doesn't get the promotion. That would really change the outlay of the show and the role of Kate entirely, and I'm comfortable with what I see now. I like see Kate every week as Captain. However, I like the thought of their running a campaign for her and pulling skeletons out of Cap's closet. I think it would be interesting to see her have to stand up and fight for herself, and to do so succesfully. Ever since first season I've thought Cap had a drinking problem herself and that's why she was so hard and Jinny. It'd be interesting to see such a thing come out. Either way, I hope she runs for the office, I just don't care for her to make it-that would change things a bit too much. Best of luck in the campaign though, Cap As for Louis, I kinda like him. I like how he's courtin' Kate. Where did Ross go though? Oh well! I like Cap and Louis, but I don't see marriage, just because everyone else seems to be getting married as well. Ya never know though!

Ok, so it was pretty much a case episode, aside from the Raina and Cap thing. (I love the fact Cap is cool Raina knows Louis and her business with Louis.) The case was pretty interesting, although I had it solved about fifteen minutes into it. I can't help but wonder though if that girl was really raped or what? Anyway...an ok episode. It was nice to see the scenes with the four of them. It was also nice to see Cap reach out to Raina. Louis seems like a classy guy. I liked the disagreement with he and Cap.

Um yeah, I'm gonna go for now. I'm sure I'll think of something else to say though. Sorry for rambling!

...off to my hole...

well, i knew it would be her best friend from the beginning, but it was a nice case.

i liked how jinny, magda, and cd were putting their theories together. lol.

the scene with the rape was the one thing i remember the most about cd.

cap picked louis! finally! i was dying from the suspense! and chief of police...hmm...i don't want her to become chief of police. i do but i don't. it's good for her and everything and being the first woman in the city-i applaud her for that. but it's too different! i don't like change!! i'm used to being the cap. what are we going to call her chief of police McCafferty? lol. i liked how she helped raina and everything. kate's jag...her plate. lol. i couldn't stop laughing. she seemed so free at the end with her feet on the desk laughing.

raina...it was cool how her parents got her a cake when she lost her virginity. i feel bad for her though. with the whole get together she did for her parents and how that went down the drain. i liked her apartment though...it was orange. lol. somehow i thought her apartment might be like that.

jinny...jinny! lol. i agree with ks..more color. she was wearing her leather jacket. cool. i liked how her hair was in a french braid. i kept looking at her wedding band. lol. she's not wearing the ring that used to be on her ring finger (the one on her right hand). she's been wearing it forever. *shrugs*

magda....i liked her. lol. but i want to know what happened with ben.

where the hell is jack! i want some make-out scenes with jinny. lol. they're so cute together.

they're not showing a lot of nate. i want more of nate. when is he going to tell cd he loves her? right after cd tells him about the rape. oh! she could tell him during a rape case...oh! lol.

Good synopsis,,ks...I knew you would cover it in one of these topics!!

I don't have much to add except that it was weird Mag didn't even mention her son tonight. You'd think she would've at least mentioned his condition in passing after all of her worrying the past weeks.

Cap and Louis are ok but I actually preferred Ross...oh well. It is nice to see Kate in a storyline that doesn't revolve around her daughter.

I hope we can see more CD or Jin in the next eppie....the preview for next week didn't look too promising though

Thank you all for your re-caps. I missed the show, and forgot to tape it. Am I confused, or did someone say that Raina's parents seperated? I thought Raina was raised by two mothers.

Anyway, all in all, it sound like it was good. Maybe someday I'll get to see it.

Thanks Again!
